Welcome to Lakelands Home Decor!

I'm Carrie Nicholls, the owner and principal designer of Lakelands Home Decor in Greenwood, South Carolina.  My lifelong passion is to create beautiful and useful spaces.  The desire to help others make the best of what is arround them in homes and offices has been with me since childhood.  Over the years I have logged hours of research, experience, knowledge, and techinical training in my the field of Interior Design, and hold a degree in Residential Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

I launched Lakelands Home Decor in 2019 and am living my dream!  I am grateful to be building a life and a livelihood here in this community.  My business is unique to the area and offers carefully selected, quality furniture and home accessories at affordable prices.  A large part of my work is accomplished within the on-site and virtual design studio where a wide range of options and assistance is available to anyone, and I emphasize anyone (whether you've ever used an Interior Designer before of not) who wants to make their home's living and working spaces more attractive, comfortable, and efficient.
